[ARCHIVED] COVID-19 Press Release

It is with great sadness that the Town of Clinton reports that a twelfth resident has passed away due to complications from COVID-19.  The Connective River Area Health District reported on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 that the resident was a male in his 80s.  The last COVID-19 related death was in May 2021.

The health district has also reported that 3 additional residents (1 male 40-49, 1 female 50-59 and 1 male 60-69 years old) have tested positive for COVID-19 for a total of 905 since the beginning of the pandemic.

With the availability of vaccines, the single best way for residents to protect themselves is to be vaccinated against COVID-19.  Residents are encouraged to be fully vaccinated.
