The CT River Area Health District has announced that over the weekend Clinton has had 8 residents test positive for COVID-19. The breakdown for gender and ages are as follows.
- 1 male between the ages of 30-39
- 1 female between the ages of 30-39
- 1 male between the ages of 60-69
- 1 male between the ages of 10-19
- 1 female between the ages of 30-39
- 1 male between the ages of 40-49
- 1 female between the ages of 10-19
- 1 male over 80 years old
Clinton now has a total of 108 residents who are recovered/recovering and 7 residents who have passed away for a total of 115 residents. We need to do everything we can to stop the spread. The Department of Public Health has updated the Town Level Alert Map, showing the average daily rate of COVID-19 cases throughout the state. Clinton is currently in the yellow but we are on our way to red if we don't stop the spread.

- Wash hands often
- Avoid close contact
- Cover your mouth and nose with a mask when around others
- Cover coughs and sneezes
- Clean and disinfect
- Monitor your health daily
