The Citizens Police Academy begins March 15, 2016 and runs for 10 weeks. All classes are held on a Tuesday night at the Police Department's Community Room from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Guest lecturers come into the sessions and speak on their area of expertise, a ride-along is available at the end of the session and participants can take part in a practical shooting exercise at the police firing range.
