Due to significant damage throughout the Town All Town Offices and Facilities will be closed for business today.
Due to extensive loss of power a significant portion of of Clinton is without power. The Town Hall will be open from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM as a warming center and for mobile device charging. (please make sure to bring your own charging cable)
Please use caution if you need to travel in Town today:
- There are numerous low hanging wires as well as downed wires on multiple roads throughout the Town.
- DO NOT assume any wire is safe. All wire should be considered dangerous,There are numerous roads CLOSED at various locations throughout the Town due to downed wires or trees.
- There are numerous roads down to one lane or less in multiple areas throughout the Town. Please use caution and be courteous.
- All Schools and Town Offices are closed today.
- Please allow the Police Department, Fire Department and Public Works to do their job. The amount of damage throughout Town is significant. It will take several days to completely clear roads and several weeks to clean up the mess.
