Municipal Animal Control Officer (MACO)
The Municipal Animal Control Officer focuses on the health and well being of animals in Clinton, provides for the care of impounded animals, and enforces all animal-related laws to ensure a safe environment for the citizens of Clinton.
All dogs, six months or older, must be licensed with the town. This should be done at the Town Clerk's Office, 54 East Main Street, Clinton, CT.
All dogs and cats must be vaccinated for the rabies virus. This is mandatory prior to obtaining their license.
The Dog Pound is located at 117 Nod Road, Clinton, CT.
