How and when do I appeal the assessment on my Real Estate, Personal Property or Motor Vehicle?

The Board of Assessment Appeals for the Town of Clinton meets in March to hear appeals on Real Estate, Personal Property and Supplement Motor Vehicles. The Board will meet again in September to hear regular motor vehicle appeals. Any persons claiming to be aggrieved by the doings of the Assessor of the Town of Clinton wishing such a hearing MUST MAKE WRITTEN APPLICATION to the Board of Assessment Appeal no later than 4:00 Wednesday February 20th, 2019. Information and applications are available at the Assessor's Office, 54 East Main Street, Clinton, Ct, Monday through Wednesday, 9:00AM to 4:00 PM, Thursday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Friday, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. You will be notified, in writing by U.S. mail, by the end of February, as to the date and time of you hearing.
