The CT River Area Health District has reported that 20 additional residents have tested positive for COVID-19 for a total of 464 residents since the beginning of the pandemic. These results were from January 16th, January 17th and January 18th.

Earlier this week, the State's Vaccine Advisory Group recommended that the State Department of Public Health develop a plan for phasing in an expansion of vaccine administration for people over 65 years old.

At this time those eligible for the vaccine include all Phase 1a eligible individuals and Phase 1b individuals who are 75 years of age and older. No other information has been provided. Additional information on Phase 1b will be coming out soon.
